I also found it difficult to make phone calls on highways too. When I say this I mean be near a regular street (not a dirt road or field etc). Driving fast can run the risk of the car disappearing seconds after it shows up on your map. Lastly, when you check off a car in the pause menu and you are looking for it in the designated district, stick to the middle of the area and just walk around.

Park/stand in front of the vehicle you need to keep it from moving and either shotgun blast the driver (my favorite) or run to the door and jack it. Best way to jack a car that you're after? Try not to have homies as they are a nusiance and often shoot randomly (scaring off the car you may be after). The SWAT cars will try to set up barricades. Need the SWAT car and can't figure it out? Get 3 stars notoriety for the police and start driving around. From off the top of my head, you can call 911 for an ambulance and 555-7973 for a police car. Calling phone numbers to get certain cars makes life easy. Not only can you see what you need and where its located, but you can put a check mark on it so that it shows up on your mini-map! The icon will be a small yellow car. Pause>Activities>Chop Shop is your best friend.

If you can keep 5 at a time in mind (and have the ability to recognize them at a glance) while free roaming or progressing with the story, you'll blaze through a lot of drop-offs. A good memory is an awesome factor for this activity. Keep it handy until you can get it to the nearest chop shop. You will know this because you will be prompted with a message that tells you to deliver that vehicle. As you progress through the game with missions and activities or just plain screwing around, you will often enter a vehicle that you need. Keep in mind that you will lose that vehicle from your garage forever (or until you find another one). Check it out for yourself and deliver what you can. If you have already progressed through the game there is a very good possibility you have some of the chop shop vehicles in your garage. If not, high-tail it to a Forgive and Forget as fast as possible. If you're good at avoiding cops, this is a cake walk. Once you enter a vehicle that needs to be delivered, you will get a wanted level based on how rare the car is (up to 3 stars). To start off you will need this warning. Once everything is activated you are ready to go. Stilwater Boardwalk in the Hotel and Marina District. Hangman's Wharf in the Stilwater Prison District.ĥ.
